Having the desire to be a singer since her teenage years, Keyshia Cole released about seven studio albums throughout her career before retiring in 2022. She was adopted by her parents when she was just 2 years old and later decided to seek out her biological father as an adult.

Jordan Fisher is an American actor, singer, and dancer who is most known for his win on the hit television series, Dancing with the Stars. He has openly told the story of his birth and how his mother gave him up when she was only 16 years old. He was subsequently adopted by his grandparents and was later joined by two other siblings who were also adopted.

Eric Clapton is a British guitarist and singer most well known for his work with Blues bands but he has also released several albums of his own. He was raised by his parents alongside his “sister” who he later learned was his birth mother. She reportedly gave birth to him when she was only 16 years old and he was then adopted and raised by his grandparents.
15. Jamie Foxx
Although most people know Jamie Foxx as an award-winning actor, he is also an extremely successful singer. His birth parents were reportedly struggling to raise him and ended up giving him up to his grandparents when he was seven months old. Although he reconnected with his birth parents when he was an adult, he has harbored no hard feelings toward them.
