It’s a good reminder that celebrities, like us, are also human beings beneath the glitz and glamour who have hard times.

In a candid conversation with Vogue, she opened up about the impact of the fashion industry on her mental health issues. She shared her journey of how she navigated depression while immersed in the demanding world of fashion.

Thankfully, Hadid was able to cope through psychiatric help and is in a much better place now in the present. 

2. Ryan Reynolds

La La Land star Ryan Reynolds also has mental illness. 

The illustrious star opened up in an interview with Page Six about his lifelong struggle with anxiety. The actor recalled that live performances and interviews often evoke a sense of fear, revealing that his mind can sometimes “spin out of control.” We feel for him, but we also have to say that he hides it well with his charismatic and hilarious personality.

The singer revealed in 2011 that she had bipolar disorder and has since been using her platform to raise awareness about her struggles, even expressing the relief that came with her initial diagnosis. 

“I was so relieved that I had finally had a diagnosis,” Lovato said. “I had spent so many years struggling, and I didn’t know why I was a certain way in dealing with depression at such extreme lows when I seemingly had the world in front of me just ripe with opportunities.”

Sadly, it seems the discussion he had on Dr. Phil didn’t last.
