Shania Twain’s Career Success

Shania Twain first broke into the country music scene in the early 1990s after signing with Mercury Nashville Records, garnering worldwide success and riches through her studio albums, tours, and other projects.

After seeing her perform in Huntsville, Ontario, in 1990, Nashville music attorney Dick Frank, who has represented such acts as the Everly Brothers and Patsy Cline, brought her back to Nashville.

She signed with Mercury Records in 1991 and remained with them for 29 years.
