How Did “Weird Al” and Suzanne Meet? 

“Weird Al” and Suzanne Krajewski were introduced by their mutual friend, Bill Mumy, an actor, writer, and musician, in 2000. Their relationship first started as phone dates before they actually met in person. 

“Going to meet her for our first date, I was like, ‘I hope she’s cute, ’cause I just might marry her,’” “Weird Al” once said in an interview for Wired about falling for her over their long phone chats. 

Apparently, Suzanne wasn’t so sure because of “Weird Al’s” fame. “Then I thought, ‘That’s kind of shallow of me to just be looking at a persona. People are often so different than how they appear.’ And we clicked immediately,” she told Rolling Stone in 2014. 

With that first meeting, the couple didn’t waste any time as they announced their union on February 10, 2001. The two are still going strong 22 years later.

Suzanne Yankovic’s Parents

Suzanne Yankovic has never divulged any information about her parents. We are unaware of their names or even if they’re still alive. 

We do know that she was loved by her in-laws, Nick and Mary Elizabeth Yankovic. Unfortunately, the two were found dead in 2004 from an accidental carbon monoxide poisoning caused by their fireplace.
