“Bangarang” – Skrillex

Skrillex is easily one of the greatest DJs of all time. One of his biggest songs is “Bangarang,” the title track from his 2012 album.

It seems like everyone knows this song, either as a fan or from memes on social media. One of the most commercially successful Skrillex tracks, it has over 900 million views on YouTube.

The vocals from hip-hop artist Sirah are the icing on the cake, propelling it to one of the best EDM songs.

“Titanium” – David Guetta ft. Sia

Australian singer Sia contributed vocals to David Guetta’s 2011 hit “Titanium,” which was produced and DJ-ed in France.

“Titanium” has received much attention for its potent lyrics, which explore resiliency and inner strength. Because of this, it is included on many lists of best EDM songs with lyrics.

Musically, it combines electronic sounds with an epic pop melody.

“Gangnam Style” – PSY

What is the most viewed EDM song? That would be PSY’s 2012 megahit “Gangnam Style.” The worldwide sensation hit the top of the charts in more than 30 countries.

Its original music video, in which PSY does a lighthearted dance routine, made YouTube history by being the first video to receive more than one billion views. It has been seen more than five billion times on the site as of 2022.

The iconic horse-riding dance from “Gangnam Style” is still done at parties and festivals worldwide.

“Strobe” – Deadmau5

If you’re looking for a song to introduce you to Deadmau5, “Strobe” is it.

The ambient, slow-burning classic displays Deadmau5’s distinctive fusion of progressive house and trance. It has rightly received much praise as one of the best EDM songs.

“Levels” – Avicii

“Levels” is one of the most well-known EDM tracks, becoming an instant smash when it was released in 2011. It’s definitely one of the best EDM songs to play at a party.

Avicii became famous worldwide because of “Levels.” Tragically, he died in 2018.

“Get Lucky” – Daft Punk ft. Pharrell Williams

Even most pop music fans know Daft Punk and Pharrell Williams’ smash hit “Get Lucky.”

The track, which combines disco, funk, and electronic, became a worldwide phenomenon, topping the charts worldwide and winning two Grammy Awards.

On YouTube, the official music video, which has a retro-futuristic vibe, has received more than 600 million views.

“Where Are U Now” – Diplo, ft. Skrillex and Justin Bieber

Producer Diplo, Canadian vocalist Justin Bieber, and DJ Skrillex released “Where Are U Now” in 2015.

With that amount of star power it was bound to be successful. The track, which features electronic, pop, and R&B elements, topped charts worldwide and received a Grammy nomination.

“Digital Love” – Daft Punk

The second selection from Daft Punk on this list of best EDM songs, “Digital Love” is taken from their 2001 album DISCOVERY. It features a vintage vocoder, catchy guitar riffs, and lovely lyrics.

Its video, which portrays the band members as robots in a futuristic metropolis, has received over 50 million views on YouTube.

“We Found Love” – Calvin Harris, Rihanna

Even more than one of the best EDM songs, many think “We Found Love” is the pinnacle of EDM. Taken from Rihanna’s 2011 album Talk That Talk, the electro-house track also has R&B and pop elements.

Like “Gangnam Style,” the Grammy-winning video has amassed over a billion views on YouTube.

“Don’t You Worry Child” – Swedish House Mafia ft. John Martin

What is the most popular EDM song? There are many contenders on this list, but “Don’t You Worry Child” by Swedish House Mafia and John Martin might well be.

The tragic story of a young couple is Swedish House Mafia’s signature song. It was nominated for the Best Dance Recording Grammy, and its video has received over 400 million views on YouTube.

“Get Low” – Dillon Francis, DJ Snake

Another contender for best EDM song to play at a party, “Get Low” is bound to get anyone out on the dance floor.

“I Took A Pill In Ibiza (Seeb Remix)” – Mike Posner

Mike Posner’s “I Took A Pill In Ibiza (Seeb Remix)” was released in 2015. The energetic-yet-melancholy dance anthem explores the topics of loneliness and self-discovery.

The remix by Norwegian duo Seeb is the most popular version of the addictive track.

“Alone” – Marshmello

Well-known American DJ and producer Marshmello released “Alone” in 2016. The track combines electronic sounds with a soaring pop chorus to create an evocative, emotionally charged dance anthem.

Grammy-nominated “Alone” peaked at number 10 on the US Dance chart.

“Faded” – Alan Walker

“Faded,” the breakthrough post-rave anthem by rising Norwegian star Alan Walker, has passed the billion-view threshold on YouTube.

“Summertime Sadness Remix” – Lana del Rey vs. Cedric Gervais

For the first several years of her career, pop singer Lana Del Rey’s involvement with dance music appeared absurd, if not downright ridiculous. After French DJ Cedric Gervais heard “Summertime Sadness,” everything changed.

“Heroes (We Could Be)” – Alesso ft. Tove Lo

The song was most popular in the UK, reaching the top 40 on the singles chart and gaining widespread critical acclaim.

“Prayer in C” – Lilly Wood, The Prick (Robin Schulz Remix)

French duo Lilly Wood and the Prick originally released “Prayer in C” in 2010. It gained widespread popularity when German DJ and producer Robin Schulz released a remix of the song in 2014. They added a danceable beat that gave it new life.

The video for “Prayer in C” features Schulz and Lilly Wood and The Prick singer Nili Hadida performing the song in a brightly-colored, surreal world.
