Lizzo, will be coming to Prime Video starting this march.
Most well known for her songs “Rumors,” “Truth Hurts,” and “Juice,” Lizzo has become famous for her lyrics which tell the hard truth about society as well as for her body-positive image.
The TV show, produced by Lizzo herself, will be an unscripted challenge to find backup dancers for her next tour. Keep reading to find out more information about what you can expect from Lizzo’s new TV show.

All About Lizzo’s TV Show
As mentioned above, the tv show Lizzo is producing will be an unscripted competition. More specifically, it will be a competition for her to find a bad-ass woman to join her on her Big Grrrls tour. Therefore it makes sense that the show will be named Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls.
The show will begin with 10 women, who are looking to compete, moving into a house together. Then, these women will compete against one another to prove they have what it takes to dance with Lizzo on stage around the world.
The TV show will premiere on Prime Video in the US on March 25th and will be available around the world starting May 2022. Take a look at the trailer to see what all is in store!
Now it hasn’t been released quite yet what challenges are in store for the women who are competing, but they will likely include lots of dancing and body movement.
How Did Lizzo Find Contestants for her TV Show?
From how it looks in the trailer, Lizzo completed a nationwide search in order to find the 10 lucky women who will compete for the tour position.
Lizzo mentions that she was specifically looking for dancers who look like her, which is difficult in the dance industry. She wants everyone to have a more positive body image and she hopes her new show will help with that.

Of course, Lizzo won’t be completing the search alone! The TV show will also feature many other legendary players from the music industry such as Tanisha Scott, O.G. Bir Grrrls Chawnta’ Marie Van, and Grace Holden—all of which are notable choreographers who the competitors will get to work with over the course of the show.
Besides just choreographers, the girls will additionally get to work with body movement expert Rashida KhanBey Miller, and singer/songwriter SZA.
