Irony runs thick in the name of New York City Instrumental, Rock, Fusion group, TAUK. Aside from the interview we hosted with the band at NCMF, you won’t hear them “tauk” very often. With no signs of a vocalist, their music is strickly instrumental. TAUK has been hitting the road hard with many respectable music festivals under their belts and hope to continue their streak with the release of their album, Sir Nebula.
On their third studio album, TAUK taps into their singular chemistry to elevate an all-instrumental blend of funk, hip-hop, progressive rock, and jazz. In our interview, Matt Jalbert (Guitar), Charlie Dolan (Bass), Alric “A.C.” Carter (Keyboards/Organ) and Isaac Teel (Drums) mention a few places to eat while on tour, share their favorite music festivals and more.
