Bo Weber’s music video “Pump This Town” features over 70 Minnesota artists

This Friday, Minneapolis artist Bo Weber premieres a music video for his new song, “Pump This Town.” The video features cameo appearances from over seventy Minnesota musicians. We bet you can’t name them all.

Familiar faces include The Voice contestant Ashley Dubose, Platinum-winning singer Michael Shynes, Prof, deM atlaS, Har Mar Superstar, and many others. PUMP THIS TOWN is the Twin Cities’ largest known collaboration to-date.

Bo’s laid back melodic rap verses flow across a jazzy guitar riff and catchy beat as he light-heartedly references pop culture icons Mike Posner, Cardi B, and Bon Iver, as well as a sly mention of Kanye’s love for Donald Trump.

With a DIY spirit, Bo filmed and edited the video himself, taking nearly six months to meet and capture all the scenes from participating artists, starting in May and ending in October.

Bo gives yet another nod to Minneapolis by featuring familiar landmarks in the background of each cameo such as The Bob Dylan Mural, Electric Fetus, and Spyhouse Coffee, as well as bedrock music venues like First Avenue’s 7th St Entry, Turf Club, and The Armory.

Bo’s mission is to support the arts and entertainment community as a whole and bring awareness to the many talented individuals who create music in the state of Minnesota.

Bo’s Oct. 12 release, “Is it Wrong,” recently made it on to Spotify’s Discover Weekly playlist, on its way to hitting 100,000 streams in a 30 day period.

“Pump This Town” was recorded, mixed and mastered by Realistic Productions.
