When Oasis, known initially as Rain, formed in Manchester in 1991, Britain had no idea what was coming, but it was going to be something big. They were not without their controversies, though, going through numerous lineup changes and many spouts between its key members, brothers Liam Gallagher (lead vocalist) and Noel Gallagher (lead guitarist and vocalist).
It is because of these things that the crazy stories about them over the years have become just as popular as their music, yet there are still many more things to learn.
Here are 29 interesting Oasis facts you may be surprised to learn.

Who knows what Oasis would have been called had it not been for a poster in Liam Gallagher’s bedroom? He and his older brother, Noel, had an Inspiral Carpets tour poster in their room. Oasis Leisure Centre was among the venues listed, and the rest is history.
