US Bank Stadium hosted the 2017 ESPN X Games, July 13–16, in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota. The $1.1 billion dollar stadium housed over 200 athletes competing for the top positions in an assortment of extreme sports challenges. We had a chance to interview the gold medalists to find out the type of music that gets them in the zone in order to perform their absolute best!
Alex Sorgente took the title in the Toyota Men’s Skateboard Park competition. Jarryd McNeil won gold in the LifeProof Moto X Step Up Challenge. Kevin Peraza rode away with gold in the Toyota BMX Park Men’s Finals. Minnesota local, Alec Majerus took the Monster Energy Men’s Skateboard Street Runner up place. Elliot Sloan won gold in the America’s Navy Skateboard Big Air Challenge. A rookie to the X Games, Wisconsin native, Colton Walker won his first X Games Gold medal in the Fruit of the Loom BMX Dirt finals. New Zealand’s Levi Sherwood took home gold in the Pacifico Moto X Freestyle competition.
