St. Paul, Minnesota’s very own niiice. is playing a show on November 26th with Stars Hollow, Miloe and Wrister at The Fallout Arts Initiative in Minneapolis. niiice. played at The Garage in Burnsville, Minnesota just a few months ago with headliner Oso Oso. They’re quirky attitude and heartfelt lyrics make niiice. a band worth seeing and listening to.
Growing up in Minnesota, I’ve always appreciated the amount of talent and music that comes out of this state, and seeing local bands open for larger tours is one of my favorite parts about every show. niiice. brought a powerful energy to the room that really set the tone for the entire evening.
niiice. released the album, Never Better and the song, “Caffeine” this year, upping their catalog to two full-length albums. They’ve toured throughout the United States this year and have two more upcoming shows in Minnesota before the year ends. They’re grungy sound and genuine lyrics help them stick out as a band to look out for in the music scene.
These “party punx” are definitely a band to keep your eye on. They’ve been releasing new music since 2016 and have consistently impressed and left me excited for new music. For fans of Hot Mulligan, Mom Jeans, Microwave and Kayak Jones, niiice. is certainly worthy of a listen.
Don’t miss niiice. next week at The Fallout or at 7th St. Entry on December 6th! niiice. became my favorite fall band this year and I’m sure their new and old listeners will appreciate their style and enjoy their upcoming performances.
