On today’s MNCast episode, Jimmy and Dan sit down for the grungy rhythms and sounds of Landazuri, and chill out to a new single from Kara Laudon.

Finally, we are graced with an in-depth interview with the new Minneapolis powerhouse collaboration duo, Mc Longshot and Lazerbeak (also of Doomtree fame), regarding their brand new debut album, “Parades”. It’s a great time!

Today also marks yet another episode of Behind the Glass – an MNCast Mini-sode about music and studio production, and the creativity that goes into making music. This week’s special guest – you guessed it!

Lazerbeak himself sits down with Jimmy to talk about everything that goes into his process of making beats, incorporating creativity into live shows, and the importance of self-care as a creative individual. Seriously – if you’re a Doomtree fan, you have to check this one out.

MNCast is a podcast hosted by Jimmy Byrne and Dan Smith, two music professionals living and working in Minnesota. Together, they recognized how hard it can be to be "heard" in today's industry. With so much going on, new music being released every single day, and music blogs & local radio stations being flooded by new releases - it's no wonder so many people aren't getting airtime. After months of conversations and complaints to each other, they decided it was time to start something new. Since August 2017, MNCast has been dedicated to delivering what you missed in Minnesota Music right to your ears!
