In Episode 128, The Wisemen welcome Chance York into the studio. The discussion took flight with talks of his incredible debut album titled, “Deep Dark Hope”; a collaborative effort with super producer Big Cats, which can be streamed on all platforms here.

We discussed York’s musical influences, and how his older brother taught him to rap by using a karaoke machine. York even remembers the first rap that his brother spit that caused him to believe the art of rapping was easy. Check out Chance York’s freestyle here.

Many may not know that York’s rap career truly began in the battle scene where he found himself toe-to-toe with some of the Twin Cities heavyweights and even defeating a few to make a name for himself.
