She signed a recording contract soon after, and it wasn’t long before her first album, Take Me As I Am, was released in 1993. The album produced her first number-one hit, “Wild One,” followed up by “Piece of My Heart.”

Her second album, It Matters to Me, came out in 1995 but didn’t achieve quite the same success as her debut album. Her third studio album, however, marked a whole new beginning.

How Did Faith Hill Become Famous?

Faith Hill reached international stardom with the release of her single, “This Kiss,” in 1998 off her third studio album, Faith.

With these albums came some of the most classic Faith Hill songs, such as “You’re Still Here,” “The Way You Love Me,” “The Lucky One,” and her original Christmas song, “A Baby Changes Everything.”

The world was also gifted with many more duets with Tim McGraw on these albums, including “Like We Never Loved at All” and “Let’s Make Love.”

Albums and songs were not the only things that the “When the Lights Go Down” singer gave the world throughout her impressive career. She also embarked on promotional Faith Hill tours and had her own Las Vegas Residency.

After some time away from the spotlight to be with her daughters, Faith Hill returned, back and better than ever, with her eighth studio album in 2017. She and McGraw gave country music fans what they’d been waiting for, a full-length original duets album called The Rest of Our Life.

This led to the Soul2Soul: The World Tour, their third co-headlining tour, which included 112 shows across the United States and Europe and brought in a revenue of more than $100 million.

Their relationship goes to show the power of attraction as true love starts, despite the fact that Hill was engaged to her former producer, Scott Hendricks, at the time, and McGraw had only recently broken up an engagement.

They married only months later, on Oct. 6, 1996, after the “It’s Your Love” singers found out they were expecting their first child.
