[Photo Gallery] Blue Ox Music Festival Day One

Day one at Blue Ox Music Festival is always the shortest day, but sets the tone for the 3 day event. This year the sun was out while The Pistol Whippin’ Party Penguins kicked off the evening. Local favorites Them Coulee Boys added the charm, while Railroad Earth closed the Main Stage with a solid set of bluegrass.

The highlight for many people surrounded the mythical Daniel Donato, who played sets on the Saloon and Backwoods Stage, followed by an impromptu jam session at the Potluck Pickin area that allegedly lasted until 4am.

Scroll down to see our photo gallery for our first taste of the 3 day music festival. Photos by Smouse.
