Minneapolis’ own  IN // VIA started off the night with warm analog synth tones and catchy hooks. This two-piece calmed the house with their wavelike vocals and pleasingly classic chord progressions. They flawlessly brought the familiar sound of 8-track tapes in a warm living room to the present.

Divide and Dissolve. Wow. Honestly, there is not much else to say about this passionate and political group other than to tell you to see them live. Their confrontational and brutally honest message as a band is apparent in their heavy, angry music. This was definitely a set I will never forget.

The experience of the Poliça and s t a r g a z e collaboration was chilling. The partnership of the two groups creates an extremely cinematic, moving, and emotionally taxing show. Having witnessed this set before, I knew that last night’s performance would make no exceptions. Channy Leaneagh’s (Poliça) dreamy vocals married beautifully with the orchestral bliss of s t a r g a z e. The pairing ushers an ethereal atmosphere to every venue they play.
