Destroyer played a glistening set to a completely sold-out Turf Club on Saturday night. The Vancouver-based indie rock band played through crowd favorites from their 20+ year career, including “Tinseltown Swimming in Blood,” “Chinatown,” “Crimson Tide,” and “Times Square.”

While the band usually has a serious presentation, they couldn’t help but smile as the audience shouted and screamed from the crowd between songs. The exchange between the band and the audience electrified the performance.

A beautiful solo set from Eleanor Friedberger opened the show, and she helped close out the night with featured vocals during the encore.
