Tash Sultana, a modern day rockstar in a time where the presence of Rock N’ Roll is fading out of pop culture as we know it. Her electrifying personality, combined with her unique talent makes for a performance that no one else can match.

If you haven’t seen Tash Sultana in concert, add it to your bucket list right now. From the looping of the various instruments, she plays to her interaction with the crowd she truly is one-of-a-kind. Plus, you will see something you’ve never seen before, like Tash beatboxing into a pan flute.

One thing that impressed me most about Tash is her commitment and focus on the actual performance, rather than the visuals that accompany it. Don’t get me wrong, there were some insanely impressive visuals throughout the show, but she makes it clear that the music is what should be the main focus, unlike some other artists.

Hearing all of her new songs from her recent album Flowstate will calm you down and hype you up all at the same time. When looking around the crowd it was easy to see just how captivating her stage presence was for everyone in the venue.

During her performance, The sold-out Palace was filled with emotion, and you could just see the goosebumps and awe that everyone was experiencing. Although the crowd came from many different areas and backgrounds, there was a warming sense of unity around a shared love for Tash.

Although her Australian roots may not have prepared her for the chilly weather of Minnesota, she certainly brought the heat. Next time Tash Sultana blesses Minnesota with another concert, do yourself a favor and get some tickets before it sells out – because there’s no doubt that it will.
