The leaves are changing and it’s the time of year for all to return to school. Witches and wizards alike will be able to go abroad to the school of Hogwarts for one night only! The Cabooze will be transformed into the imaginative world of Harry Potter for Wizardfest on September 27th.

The same world which has intrigued fans alike for 7 brilliant books and 8 transformative films. Whether you like magic, Harry Potter, or none of the above. There is something for you at Wizardfest!

Wizardfest is a pop-up traveling dance party committed to bringing together wizards and witches alike. Started in 2016 in New York City, Wizardfest travels from city to city carrying the magic and mystery transforming each venue into Harry Potter’s world.

Co-Found John Damiano described it as shooting for a “specific kind of spooky” when transforming venues. No venue is complete without, “Bunch of spiders everywhere, proper lights, and castle-like theme.”

In addition, you can expect to see a Quidditch tournament, TBD musical guests, mega light show, and plenty of butterbeer! Unfortunately, there will NOT be a sorting hat, John says, “People would get a kick out of it but probably really annoyed if they got selected for the wrong house. We all know what house we belong to!”

For all you muggles out there, don’t fret, they lifted the spell so you’ll be able to see the magic as well. There will a costume contest not limited to the party theme. Grab your best elf house attire, chocolate frogs, and start practicing your drink spells. I EXPECTO PATRONum! Dance the night away before the magic wears off and you return to the civilian world.
