Spring Awakening Announces Stellar Full Line Up

After releasing the names of some very impressive headliners, Spring Awakening Music Festival is back to announce the rest of their completely stacked 2019 line up. The festival, held June 7-9, features nearly one hundred electronic music producers of genres all across the board. The yearly event is put on by React Presents promotions company.

Previously held in the heart of Chicago, the move to Poplar Creek in Hoffman Estates, IL, is sure to bring about some changes. Located one hour outside of the city, the new location is much more residential. With 27 acres to play with, this year’s festival will feature five unique stages. Friday will feature a curated stage from massive house and trance label, Anjunabeats. Saturday will also have two curated stages, brought to you by All My Friends (AMF) and Bass Kitchen.

This year’s headliners include DJ Snake, Griz, Illenium, Martin Garrix, Rezz, and Zedd. Other notable names from the undercard include Galantis, Oliver Heldens, Dillon Francis, Excision, Benny Benassi, What So Not, and much more. There is a huge amount of diversity in genres on the roster. From trance and deep house to trap and dubstep, there is plenty of variety on this line up to appeal to any EDM lover. Spring Awakening will now have more space, more artists, and fewer restrictions from city ordinances. Hopefully, the expansive location helps the sound-bleed issues that affected the festival at its former location. Additionally, fans are anticipating the fest will have later hours and more night-time sets now that it has moved out of the city limits. Another question that remains is whether or not attendees can expect any after parties, which are typical of the midwest festival. There are just under two months to go until the gates of Spring Awakening open at the new Poplar Creek location. The remarkable roster of electronic artists is sure to be a huge draw for midwest music fans.
