Twin Cities rap duo Lux & Longley have dropped some new visuals for their song All Tha Time on us this week, a song off their debut EP which was released last year.
The video, which features the two holding up traffic with a lawn mower in the suburbs, and subsequently being chased down the street by a mob of angry drivers, was directed by Gabe Hostetler of Young Vision Films, and features cameos from other creatives from Minneapolis such as DJ Smoove, Nug Mama, Claire Cho, Connor Marques of Vice Boys and more.
Lux & Longley have been able to create a dynamic sound by combining each of their unique voices and performance styles. Lux, having been heavily influenced by classic R&B, has been rapping and producing since he was 13 years old. Longley has been writing lyrics and poems since he was 12 years old. His flow along with his witty bars and his uniquely deep voice, which many believe is a result of production, results in a delivery that has not been heard in the Minneapolis music scene before.
Together, Lux & Longley fuse their unique backgrounds and continue to create new and exciting sounds and are only at the beginning of their journey.
Going along with the release, Lux & Longley have also released a new song this week, Same Shit, which can be heard here.
