Last updated on August 6th, 2023 at 01:19 pm

Legends Lionel Richie and the musical army that is Earth, Wind & Fire brought funk, rock, and boogie to Xcel Energy Center. What seemed like a sold-out arena, it was packed full of energy and outfits bringing you back in time when music was all about togetherness,

Earth, Wind & Fire took the stage to an energized crowd, all dancing and singing along to each note. It was fun to see all the families in the audience attending the show together. Generations of families came together to watch their favorite musical icons.

Lionel took the stage to his classic “Hello” and the crowd almost overpowered him as they sang along. Lionel is the definition of an entertainer. Highlighting his hits along with classic Commodores songs, the show was filled with smiles, screams, and even tears during “We Are The World”. Before the song, he reminded the crowd that we are all one no matter our religion, political views, or race. The entire night was about together as one for the love of music.

Lionel stated many times during the show how happy he was to be out on the road again after lockdown. Last night’s show defiantly had a spark and it was a reminder that music and togetherness can heal. His songs bring people together and remind us over and over that we are all one.
