Amy Grant & Michael W Smith’s Christmas Concert, with special guest Marc Martel, at the Target Center, was presented by 98.5 KTIS.

It was my first time seeing Micheal W Smith live. He has been doing Christian music for over three decades with Smith’s first Christmas album releasing in 1989.

At the age of 59, Amy Grant sounds amazing. Amy showed a lot of gratitude to 98.5 KTIS and to those who made the night happen. She also showed appreciation for all veterans and people who have served.

Special guest Marc Martel was a great addition to the Christmas show. He performed cover songs like Queen‘s “We Are the Champions,” as well as singing originals.

One thing that was interesting and different was that they had a full orchestra, conducted by David Hamilton. It certainly added a very unique, soothing sound to the night.

The artists proclaimed that Minnesota is one of their favorite places to visit. By the look of it, it was a packed night, so the feeling from the crowd was reciprocated.
During the song “Jingle Bells,” fake snowballs were thrown by hand and by a big slingshot.
