Three years ago, Woodbury resident Brian Muller said goodbye to his wife Amie, a veteran who lost her battle to Pancreatic Cancer.
The loss he and his three young children experienced inspired Brian to create the Amie Muller Foundation, a non-profit with a focus on supporting military families affected by Pancreatic Cancer.
A musician himself, Brian wanted to incorporate music into his cause, launching an acoustic music event in Amies name. This year marks the 3rd Annual AMF Acoustic Showcase, which will be held at the JX Event Venue on Saturday, May 11th.
Artists performing include local favorite GB Leighton, Tim Griesgraber, Ali Gray and the Brian David Band.
All proceeds will go to the Amie Muller Foundation to help support military families in need and Pancreatic Cancer research for early detection screening.
Doors open at 6:00 pm. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Heavy appetizers will be served.
