Lullwater, a band from Athens, GA who have a gritty, grungy, southern sound, performed very well last night at Studio B. You can definitely hear some of their influences (like the Foo Fighters) in their music.

They played around a 35-minute set to get the crowd amped up for the headliner. Lullwater has three albums, and their latest one, Voodoo, was released earlier in the year. Overall, great performance.

To top off the night was Blacktop Mojo. The band is from Texas and they definitely have a southern rock sound. You’ll hear some of their influences in their music as well, such as Soundgarden.

They are on their headlining tour promoting their latest album, Under the Sun, which was also released earlier this year. Blacktop Mojo put on an awesome show, they played for an hour and a half and did an amazing cover of Phil Collins’ “In the Air Tonight.”

The energy Blacktop Mojo brings to the stage is incredible, and they very much interact with their fans both on and off stage.
