The music of Van Halen, Kiss, Twisted Sister, Motley Crue and other 80’s arena rock bands filled the air tonight at the Great Minnesota SWEAT-together thanks to HAIRBALL!
The hot and humid evening became an inferno as a packed grandstand came to watch the premier 80’s rock tribute band in the nation. Hard rocking hit after hit was met with solid musicianship, smoke, fire and an avalanche of pyrotechnics.

HAIRBALL touts themselves as being “A bombastic celebration of area rock,” an understatement when describing the show they put on at the Minnesota State Fair, considering the excitement they brought to the nearly sold out 17,000 capacity crowd.
The opening act for the evening was Kat Perkins, who awed the crowd with her powerful voice as she flawlessly performed songs from her studio albums alongside songs which moved her to the semifinals of NBC’s The Voice (season 6).
