First Time?
Martin Garrix, the legendary Dutch DJ, just made his first appearance in Minnesota, and he did not disappoint. The 23-year-old House DJ is truly an icon for his age and is among the greats like Avicii, David Guetta, Tiesto, Calvin Harris and more. At the age of 17, he released “Animals” which jump-started his career and has racked up over a billion plays on YouTube.
It’s rare for artists of this caliber to bless the Midwest with their magic, but Garrix did just that at the sold-out Armory this weekend. This show is the only Midwest show on his tour this year and his first stop in the US.
Garrix made sure to make the most of it.
Pure Euphoria
The energy in the Armory on Friday night was one-of-a-kind, and his stage presence is truly unmatched. As if his euphoric music wasn’t enough to make for a great night, his light show was next level.
This night made it clear that his fans are nothing short of die-hards. A glance around the venue would make someone think they were at a festival with how many people were sitting on shoulders.
The Armory was packed on this autumn night, but the love for Garrix brought everyone even closer together. There was plenty of magic and love in the air, and it was all because of his ability to bring people together for something bigger than themselves.
