The Current Announces Aug. 27 #MicroShow ft. Chris Thile, Chastity Brown, Son Volt

The Current is wrapping up the summer with a special edition #MicroShow at Fine Line on Tuesday, August 27. The show is sponsored by New Belgium Brewing and presented in partnership with American Public Media’s “Live from Here.”

The Current’s upcoming #MicroShow will feature rare intimate performances by acclaimed mandolinist and Live from Here host Chris Thile, along with Twin Cities favorite Chastity Brown and Son Volt.

Thile is set to perform a unique solo acoustic set, which will be followed by an acoustic set by Minnesota’s own Chasity Brown. Closing the night will be Son Volt performing songs off their newest album Union.
