The melodic hardcore band from the midwest, Rise Against, paid a visit to Minneapolis on their Fall Tour. This past weekend, Rise Against played to a sold-out Skyway Theatre–accompanied by Pierce the Veil and White Lung. Today, they head to Michigan to continue their tour; remaining dates of the tour can be found here.
The female-dominated, White Lung, referred to themselves as the “fluffers” for the show. Knowing they were there to entertain before the bigger acts came out, White Lung were good sports and didn’t disappoint.
Pierce the Veil fans arguably outnumbered those there for Rise Against. The unlikely duo of Rise Against and Pierce the Veil was a match made in heaven though. This combo was the perfect way to bring different generations of rock together.
Last, but not least, it was time was Rise Against to make their long-awaited appearance. After just one song, Tim McIlrath hopped off stage and into the crowd to greet his adoring fans.
