Many music junkies would probably agree that Sunday is not the most popular day of the week to release an album. Especially not if that day was also a nationally recognized holiday. However, this Sunday is not an ordinary Sunday for the Minnesota-based artist, Bo Weber.
This Sunday, May 14th, Bo will release his self-produced, debut album, ‘Wendy‘. Bo picked this particular day, Mother’s Day, because this album consists of a collection of songs dedicated to his mother, who sadly passed away from Ovarian cancer at the early age of fifty years old.

‘Wendy’, is a raw confessional of the distance Bo set between himself and his mother during her battle with cancer.
During the writing process, Bo found himself caught in the emotional journey of revisiting his darkest moments, causing a relapse into heartache, anger, and depression.
However, through the reading of inspirational books left by his mother, Bo discovered his life’s purpose, enabling him to obtain true happiness.
Accompanied by the release of ‘Wendy‘, Bo premiered his latest music video for the song ‘Right Here‘, (available for free download) which features Bo opening up about the painful guilt and regret he was left with after his mother’s passing, which led to his self-destructive downward spiral.
The album also includes intimate bonus content such as voicemail recordings from his mother, along with other personal audio clips that are sure to move you deeply.
Bo Weber, who has a musical sound comparable to the sounds of Troye Sivan and LANY, mixes his soft, wounded vocals telling an impactful story, over nostalgic, dream-pop instrumentals; a musical accomplishment the modern generation can easily appreciate.
His first single, “California Babe“, held the #1 position on the IndiMusic TV Charts for two consecutive months, has been broadcasted in five different countries on numerous music television stations, and was selected by MtvU to compete in the Freshman Competition.
‘Wendy’, is sure to take you on an emotional rollercoaster, and will without a doubt be one of the most intimate collections of recordings you will ever find from an artist.

Join Bo in the fight against Ovarian cancer.
Own his album, Wendy, today.
