Melodic surf-punk trio Last Import has released their very first music video for the fan-favorite song “Money” off their self-titled debut album! The video, directed and produced by Ray Champagne and shot entirely at The Garage in Burnsville, features fans, family, and friends alike, and showcases the quirky, fun show rituals Last Import takes part in before every show!
Additionally, this June the ladies of Last Import will be hitting the road and heading to the East Coast to complete their very first tour! The two-week-long “Fast Times Tour” will kick off Friday, June 7 in their hometown of Minneapolis, Minnesota and take them all the way to Brooklyn, New York, where they will be taking part in one of Leesta Vall’s Direct-To-Vinyl Live Sessions, recording special 7” lathe cut vinyl records of seven songs from their self-titled debut album.
While the young band from Minneapolis has yet to take part in a full tour, the “Fast Times Tour” was routed and booked entirely by themselves. Speaking about this milestone is Last Import’s drummer, Jane Halldorson, who said:
“We cannot wait to go on our first tour! We are super proud to have booked the whole thing ourselves and to have gotten all real venues, instead of house shows. We hope this tour shows everyone how serious we are about music and the potential we see in ourselves and hope that everyone else sees it as well.”
