Good Charlotte Full Band

Veteran pop-punk band Good Charlotte returned to First Avenue for the first time in over five years. Promoting their new album, Youth Authority, Good Charlotte kicked off their seventeen-song set with their 2003 single, “The Anthem.” Twin frontmen, Joel and Benji Madden, connected with the audience by acknowledging their fans who listened to them through middle school and high school, stating that they’ve “grown up together.”

Their high-energy set contained a mix of songs old and new with the crowd of all ages singing along to every word. Celebrating their twentieth anniversary as a band this year, Good Charlotte has proved that continuously releasing well-written songs for a dedicated fanbase is the key for a long and successful career.
