The “Lucid Dreams”, “All Girls Are the Same” and “Lean Wit Me” rapper and songwriter had just begun his promising career before suffering a seizure at a Chicago Midway Airport.
Juice WRLD performed in 2017 at a rec center in Chicago for mostly his friends and family. This performance earned him only $100 but was his first paid gig.
Although Juice Wrld had recorded several EPs prior, his debut album, Goodbye & Good Riddance was recorded with Interscope Records in 2018.
In 2018, Billboard named Juice WRLD their top new R&B/hip-hop artist, followed by the Top New Artist Award at Billboard Music Awards in 2019.
