Doja Cat’s real name is Amala Zandile Dlamin.She says that she changed her stage name from ‘M’ to ‘Doja’ when she entered high school because she didn’t want her African name.
While growing up, Doja Cat was very musical. She started playing piano at the age of four and took lessons in jazz, hip-hop, and ballet when she turned six.
Apart from her own solo career, Doja Cat has also been featured in singles and albums by other artists. She appeared on the track “Five Hours” along with MØ and DJ Snake.
